VMAX MEET AND GREET
at the Germiston Classic Motorcycle
AT LAST….. one of our Members ….#235
Geoffrey Celliers……. took the initiative to get some JHB Chapter Members
together for a “Short Notice” Meet and Greet at the Germiston Classic
Motorcycle Club on Sunday 7 oct 2018.
In order to start organising small
events like Meets and Greets Geoff’s intention with this “Short Notice” Meet
was to get some ideas and opinions from participating Members.
Geoff started making phone calls to
Members on Thursday 4 oct……. it therefore was understandable that there might
only be a Few Members able to join.
In total there were 4 Vmaxers on the
Meet of which 3 were Members of the VMOG…..
#235 Geoffrey Celliers –
#244 Michael Shapiro -
For the next Meet and Greet Geoff
will Advice all JHB Chapter Members in due time via * EMAIL….. a * Notice on
our VMOG Facebook Page and * Our Website.
We all thank Geoff wholeheartedly
for the time and effort he took to Organise this MEET.

Members & Friends
It is with shock and dismay that I have to inform you of the passing
away of Nico Venter last night, 28 April 2009.
The Vmax Owners Group of South Africa expresses our most sincere
condolences to Nico's wife Dawn and his family.
On behalf of our Members and all our enthusiasts, I wish to say that a
real Vmaxer and great proponent of our beloved Vmaxes has been lost to us
Nico was a founder member of our Group and, many years before
the formation of our Group, informally organised rides with other Vmaxers
on the Witwatersrand.
participated in all our Rallies and was looking forward to join us at this
years 4th SA Vmax Odyssey gathering.
Nico has touched the lives of us all in some small way or another and his
memory will live wish us in perpetuity.

Subject: Last V-Max run 2007.
Had a very nice ride in perfect weather .Unfortunately
some guys were late and missed out on a nice group ride.We had a good
ride through the countryside and visited both caves from the
outside.Skip then took us to a place on the crocodile river at
Magaliesburg where we had VERY nice breakfasts.
a Lot of people i
suppose could`nt make it because of the time of the year but we
managed to get 6 Maxes together for the ride and it was a nice solo
ride back to Vanderbyl via Krugersdorp.
I wish you all
the best for the festive season and tanks for your friendship.Next
year early we must ride again.
This successful Breakfast Run was organised by Nico Venter of
( & Coordinated by all the attending VMAXERS )

Fouche, Villiers, Heidelberg terug Oos Rand toe.
Julle
Ek sal swaar afskeid neem.
toe. Moontlik kan ons nog ietsie intussen inwerk!

Hi Nico, dankie vir
die uitstappie na Vaaldam! Dit was regtig lekker. Ons moet weer so
as hulle los is. As jy kan sal
ek graag 'n groep foto wil kry.
Groete, Arrie Venter.
