Hello Hans,

(Hierdie keer kom ek saam!)

 Groete

 Gwen en Leon

Arrived home save and I am well rested now. Not a very nice trip through the Transkei. Plenty dead animals and two accidents.

I trust that all the other members arrived home safely.

Just a few lines from Kristine and I regarding your and Marlies input. I must say thanks again for a brilliant well organized gathering. The new members that we spoke to really praised you both for the event.

Chat soon

Cheers

Subject: Thanks for Great Time

 Hi Hans

Thanks for the wonderful time we had at the Gathering with the VMAX FAMILY, yes it truly is a family.

Annie and I have returned to work after our three-week holiday, but for us the highlight was meeting so many of the Vmax family. We feel like we know you all so much better now but it’s what we expected and better as we are all so like minded in so many ways not just our love of your VMax’s.  I trust that all the members at the gathering returned home safely.

I hope you have given yourself a Platinum Certificate for the planning and organization of the Gathering I am sure all the Others will agree that you deserve it.

God Bless and for now.

P.S. I send you all the photos I took at the gathering so you can post it on the web site.

Kind Regards

 Hi Hans

Also, please extend Caro and my thanks and appreciation to all those who assisted us after our accident, including those who have contacted us after the fact. It is at times like these that one is reminded of the calibre of people at the Odyssey Rally. My leg has healed rather quickly, but Caro took more of a knock and will only be riding in about two weeks. Thank you one and all.

 Looking forward to next year.

Good Morning Hans & Marlies Knop.

Thanks for the newsletter # 100. I want to say to you and Marlies that this was my first VMAX rally and it will also not the last one. I want to say to everybody who I met at the rally you are the greatest family members I come across. I had a problem with my VMAX clutch but in no time it was fixed by so many assistance. It is with sadness to say goodbye to so many wonderful people and who had the same passion for VMAX’s. I want to say a special thanks to Andre and Linda Blignaut who actually force me to come along. I will become a VMAX member shortly and will be proud to wear the beautifully VMAX owners group Badge on my leathers.

Just read the contents of the Newsletter for the 4 th time. I get goose bumps reading the letters. Makes one think. Every one has a similar content to write about. Well I look at it and think to myself  "That's why we all ride VMAX's" Like minded people think alike, Not so??

I just wish we could get more members to attend.

 Cheers

Subject: Confirmation of Sponsorship - 6 th VMax Odyssey gathering

Hi Hans.

Greetings to both you and Marlies and I trust that you are both well.

I confirm my sponsorship for the 6th gathering will be R 6 000, and that
it will be deposited shortly. Please look out for it in your bank account.

The 5th gathering of the clan was - as expected, superb. There can be
only one....VMax.

It is pleasing to see the words of praise coming through from the
members, and I wholeheartedly support their views of the 5th gathering.
You are setting ever increasing standards, and the members are
responding accordingly. Very well done Hans. Rest assured that we all
realise that whilst it may well be a labour of love, we also know and
accept that it is hard graft. We sincerely appreciate all the effort
that you and Marlies, (and also the rest of the gang) have gone through
to make the event so memorable for all of us.

Billy and I look forward to the next one.

VMaximus greetings.

Gerrit Dokter

Gerrit I am so impressed .....you are really a man of your word.... and you
have given me ALL the Strength .... Motivation and Enthusiasm I need for
organising our 2011 - 6th Gathering.
