" MY CURRENT
RIDE ! ! "
Here she is...
my current ride. And what a machine! Zero to plenty in much less than
twenty! Of all the rides I’ve owned I must confess to enjoying the V-Max
the most. She hails from 1987. Honestly, I think the only bike that’ll
give me more pleasure would be the (no guesses now) new V-Max!
DID THE FURBUR FIX and fitted a TRIPLE to the forks
..............at this stage still have to cover the front of the
Triple...........

MY PREVIOUS BIKES |

My
ride before I got the V-Max. A sweet riding, monster sounding
400CC Steed. Awesome V-twin power! Swing your leg over her and
she rewards you with the sweetest of purrs! |
Second to only the V-Max, the Goldwing GL1100 Interstate is an
awesome machine, never complaining and always willing. This
ride belonged on the open road, eating kilometers for
breakfast, lunch and supper |
Ahh
yes, old faithful. Honda CB900F2 Bol d’Or. What a machine. You
felt like a king riding her, always wanting to wear a white
glove to wave at the crowds. A superior machine for its time. |
MY FAMILY |
 |
 |
 |
LLena. The Matriarch. Mommy dearest. The one without which the
family would not exist in unity, without whom there would be
no invisible thread holding us all together, without which the
beds would not be made and the floors not swept. Or the
ironing done. Needless to say she enjoys Mother’s day, when we
say thanks for all her effort, love, and for being who she is.
We think she deserves it. After all, we have to wait a whole
year every time just to spoil her! |
Christo,
on his first ever day of school, 2009. Luckily the smile and
happiness stayed the whole day and disappointment set in when
they had to head home. Let’s hope it remains so for the next
12 years! |
Tufan. The eldest son.
Here he is smiling just before a microlight flip, hence the flight suit. I
had to use the “before” photo, the “after” one turned out a bit too green.
He’s going to become a pilot. He’s a pretty good MTB’er, taking on hills
like a steamroller would a speed bump. |

MeDirk.
Yes, I know, it’s a real mystery how I have acquired so much
grey hair at such a young age. Go figure. |
nLina’s
Yamaha XJ900. One of the smoothest and most reliable machines
ever! A shaft drive like only Yamaha can make it |
