Icw the trip..

......What a run.. the V MAX with the new motor ran like a BULL and i am very happy with the performance... Now im glad i spend the money ... 

 We left Pretoria Des 18 early for Colesberg.. We send most of our kid down earlier via SAL so we had a tight back pack with the essentials... I took it slow cause its the 1st time i ran the new motor... After Kroonstad i pushed a bit and the MAX just flew... man ..!! it was sooo coool... Hilda had to hang on a bit tighter but she did fantastic... first time she does such a looong run.. no Moans no pinching nothing... and SHE LOOOOVED it.Just b4 Ghariep dam we had to do a bypass due to a mayonase truck that rolled and the road was closed..the fuel were low and MAN..! that place is hot..Hilda had real difficulty with the heat there...Thank you for the ercon pub at the aircon at a lovely pub at the dam.....the beer was cold..Hehe.!.. We got to Colesburg  very Quick and the law was asleep i think...saw only 2 ..Goood..I always sleep over at the local school boarding house .. so we did it again.. After a nice show at the local very cool  Restaurant .. we fell asleep..

 Next morning early, fill up .. coffee and a beer and hit the road Cradock was next . The road was good the sky was a bit overcast so i decided we gnna move a bit...The Max performed very well... we stopped to kid up due to a bit rain but not to  serious.. The mountain pass b4 PE is wide and you can see faaar ..so it  was lovely to go over it...We got to PE safe and had a beer at the local beach front pub...forgot the name now.. Then left for Jeffry'sBay... there we had another beer an cooled down a bit...Lots o people and hot... At about 3 we left to Plettenburgbay... My mate Des stays there so we had a few beers and caught up a bit...

 Next morning we left for Knysna and met up with my Daughter.. We stayed for 2 days and it was lovely...we bought Dresses for the girls and the dudes had beer... Eazy..Hehe.!.I took Hida to a beautiful old Fisher mans church just outside o Knysna...i thank my GOD for taking care off Hilda and me Cause now we have done about 1200 km with only pleasure to report... We went to  Buffelsbaai were it was very windy but the beer was cold and the view beautiful...

 We left Knysna after breakfast and stopped over at Bloukrans... were the V MAX was just as popular as the jumping..Very cool.. from there we went past Mosselbaai were we filled up had a smoke and went on to Stormsrivier...windy but the MAX just kept going..here again i realizes how power-full the Max is...lovely..! Stormsrivier bridgejumping was closed ..pity...From there we went pass my old school were it was weired to ride around with the MAX..Memories...!!

 From Riversdal..the wind picked up badly and it was uncomfortable , we stopped at a old friend Takoeza in Riviersonderend had a beer and went on to Franskraal..this was very windy and we were glad to get to Franskraal were we stayed over at my brother's campsite .. lovely place and the beer was cool.. We slept very lekke that night..

 Next morning we went pass Hermanus and all a long the beautiful pass toward Strand.. The V MAX was lovely through the Sharp corners but the best was the sound against the rock on your right  all the time... Love my MAX..!  We had something to eat and a cold beer at the Anchor pub in the harbor were Mark , my friend was glad to see us... From there to my mom in Somerset West..and then to Clairmond in Capetown.

 In Capetown we went all over, and every were the V MAX was the main atraction..hehe..!.  Its so much easier with all the traffic but we all know how people drive,,,Say no more.. We had a MR Sinclaire...a bike cop ..pulling us over ..R300.00 later and a bit of lip "your nr plate is to small " we on our way again...

 It was surprising but not once did the MAX overheat in slow traffic like my previous motor always did...I dnt know. We met up with my old friend Brother Bruce and his missis Hanti.. had a lot of fun . and they flew back b4 New Year...

 Thats about it... we drove back with with the MAX on a trailer cause i had to get my dads car here..he passed away 3 months ago.. The trip was fantastic and Hilda needs a trophy..she enjoyed it all the way and the worse was the day at Ghariep were it was very hot..

Ok Hans .. i dnt know if i made it to long but thats the story.. The V MAX is going for new pipes now ..and i love it  more everyday.. Go well and we see this year at the Odyssy..
